We’ve always believed in good user experience and good design. But, it’s been seven years since we first designed our entry home page. And, along the way, we’ve been listening. More space for content. Accessibility-friendly. Easier for the entrant to get started more quickly.
While the Award Force home page is only briefly seen and used for a few moments, it is one of the most important views in the application. Handling registration and login, this page is critical for maintaining program security and integrity. And, as the first page a participant interacts with, sets the tone for the rest of their experience with you.
That’s why we’re excited to announce big improvements to the home page experience.
The updated entry home page allows program managers, their team and entrants to access your Award Force platform with greater ease and convenience but also presents more utility to you.
Here’s a quick list of the improvements made to the home page:
The home page can be accessed directly from the Award Force platform by all logged in users. Users can simply click on the home icon in the top menu at any time to return to the home page.
To return to the “logged in” view, program managers and their teams just click on a relevant workspace they have access to.
The user verification process has been simplified to a single step, making access to the Award Force platform fast and easy—but still secure, with a 6-digit code (6DC) sent via text message or email.
What else can be optionally displayed on the home page?
Providing more program context and promoting entry categories is a critical step in the award management lifecycle. That’s why we’ve made it possible to display additional content blocks for yet logged in. The home page features a menu above the login/registration form to make it easier for users to navigate through this information.
Clicking on an item in this list will take users to view that displays the relevant content—all to help entrants better navigate and choose the right entry category they want to enter.
There’s no limit to how many content blocks can be created, enabling program managers to share a wide range of information with page visitors.
This content can also be removed if program managers don’t want it visible to the public. The menu will not be visible if there is no additional content.
