A three-month structured program to guide teams through the start-up process, from product and market validation to business analysis and growth strategies.

The National University of Singapore Graduate Research Innovation Programme aims to power its researchers and postgraduate students to transform their research into deep technology start-ups.

NUS GRIP offers a comprehensive step-by-step guidance programme, open to the university’s PhD candidates, masters students, postgraduate, research scientists and alumni and includes an application process for entry.

The 12-month programme is comprised of a 3-month venture hothousing and 9-month incubator support, and includes mentoring, guidance, access to university support and lab resources, and possible investment funding.

In addition to their awards program, they also offer a fellowship program to serve as a springboard for new talent covering stories globally with creativity and integrity.

Selected fellows receive a £1,000 production grant, one-to-one mentoring and a year-round program of industry workshops and webinars, while they produce a non-fiction piece of media.

Award Force has been our preferred application submission platform,” said Jack So, programme director, who has been utilising Award Force since 2019

One of the standout features of Award Force is its comprehensive and user-friendly interface. It enables us to monitor the progress of applications seamlessly, right from their creation to the moment of submission. This ability to track the entire application process through the platform’s dashboard has been immensely valuable to us.

“It allows us to have a clear overview of the number of applications submitted as well as those still in progress. This visibility grants us peace of mind, especially during periods when most applicants tend to submit their applications close to the deadline,” So said.
